FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Does this e-bike have a suspension system?

Yes. The U3 Pro features a full suspension system, including an 80mm-travel front fork (with lockout) and adjustable rear coil suspension. This setup effectively absorbs bumps and vibrations, improving comfort and control on both trails and city roads. For maintenance, it is recommended to simply wipe the suspension components after rides to prevent dirt buildup

Can I ride this e-bike on a rainy day?

The e-bike is rated IPX4, meaning it can handle splashes from any direction. However, its electrical components, including the battery, are not fully waterproof. We recommend avoiding heavy rain or extreme weather conditions.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery?

It takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge the battery using the original charger. Charging overnight or during the day is recommended for convenience.

What are the advantages of hydraulic disc brakes?

Hydraulic disc brakes deliver stronger, more consistent braking with less effort. Their sealed system maintains stable performance under heat and reduces wear, ensuring reliable and long-lasting braking.

What is the benefit of a step-over bike?

The step-over frame uses a classic diamond frame design, offering greater rigidity and stability, especially at higher speeds or on rough terrain. The top tube also leaves plenty of space for mounting accessories, making it ideal for long-distance riding and outdoor adventures.

How do I maintain hydraulic disc brakes?

Hydraulic disc brakes require minimal maintenance. Check brake pad wear regularly and ensure hoses and connections are free from leaks. If braking feels weak or the brake lever feels spongy, it is recommended to have a professional perform a brake bleed. Do not disassemble it yourself.

Does the bike come with lights?

Yes. The U3 Pro features a StVZO-certified headlight and taillight, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable riding at night.

What is the recommended height of riders?

The U3 Pro is designed for riders between 160 cm and 200 cm (5'3" to 6'7"). The adjustable seat allows you to customize your riding position for maximum comfort.

Does the bike support a mobile app connection?

No. The U3 Pro is designed for a straightforward and reliable riding experience without app connectivity. All key information and settings are displayed on an intuitive control panel for easy operation.

Is the battery removable?

Yes, the battery is fully removable, allowing you to charge it on or off the bike at your convenience. It can be securely locked on your bike with the key, ensuring its safety when you are not present. For safety reasons, indoor charging is not recommended.

Does cold weather affect battery performance?

Yes. In low temperatures, lithium-ion battery performance may decrease, and range can drop by approximately 20%–30%. This is normal. We recommend fully charging the battery before riding and taking proper care to prevent rust and wear.

What should I check before a long ride?

We recommend a quick “BRAKE” check, including battery level, risk (tire pressure and damage), alignment (brakes and gears), knots (all bolts and quick releases), and essentials (patch kit, charger, and your phone).

How can I extend battery lifespan?

Here’s what we suggest:

  • Charge regularly, avoiding fully draining the battery.
  • Use the original charger whenever possible.
  • For long-term storage, keep the battery at 60–80%.
  • Avoid charging it in temperatures below 0°C (32°F).
Will the battery degrade if I don’t use the bike for a long time?

Lithium-ion batteries naturally self-discharge over time. If you don’t use the bike for a long time, keep the battery at 60%–80% charge and check it monthly to prevent deep discharge.

What is the maximum range of this e-bike?

Under ideal conditions, the Touroll U3 Pro electric bike offers a maximum range of up to 150 km in pedal-assist mode. The actual range depends on various factors, including rider weight, terrain, wind conditions, temperature, and assist level.

What should I do after riding in the rain?

After a wet ride, it is recommended to wipe down the frame, chain, and brake rotors with a dry cloth to prevent rust. Even with an IPX4 rating, proper cleaning helps extend the bike’s lifespan.
