FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What’s the difference between mid-drive motors and hub motors?
Mid-drive motors are located in the center of the bike frame and provide better balance and weight distribution. They also allow for better control over the gears and cadence. Hub motors are located in the wheel hub. They provide a more direct drive system but can affect the overall balance and handling of the bike.
What are the advantages of a mid-drive bike?
Mid-drive motors offer improved balance and handling as they are located in the center of the bike near the pedals. By using the bike's gears to power the motor, mid-drive motors enable more efficient use of power and longer range. They also provide increased torque for climbing hills and conquering diverse terrains.
Is the battery removable?
Yes. The battery is removable and can be charged on or off the bike. You can lock it on your bike with the key for high security.
Does the e-bike come with a display?
The MA1 bike comes with an LCD that shows various information, including real-time speed, battery level, assist level, riding distance, trip time, etc.
How do I recharge the battery pack?
The battery pack can be charged on or off the bike by plugging in the charger unit. The charger unit connects to a standard wall outlet. The charging time is around 6.5 hours.
What braking system does it use?
The MA1 uses premium hydraulic disc brakes that offer better control, increased braking effort and more responsive braking, enabling a 30% shorter braking distance than traditional mechanical brakes. The sealed hydraulic system is less prone to contamination, wear or tear, which lasts longer and requires less maintenance.
What kind of assembly is required?
Your e-bike will arrive partially assembled (about 85%) and packaged in a standard bike box. The parts that need to be mounted include the front wheel, front mudguard, headlight, saddle, pedals and handlebars. You can check the manual for a step-by-step guide.
What is the maximum rider weight?
The maximum recommended rider weight is around 120kg (264.5 lbs) for optimal performance.
What is the size of the frame?
The size of the frame is 26"x17".
I’m 5'9". Can I use this bike?
Yes. The recommended rider height is 155-190cm (5' 1"-6' 3").
Can I ride this bike on a rainy day?
All of the electric components, including the battery pack, are designed to be water-resistant. However, we strongly recommend keeping it indoors on rainy days or in bad weather.
Where is the bike shipped from? And how many days can I get the bike after I place the order?
Our bikes are shipped from warehouses in Europe. It usually takes around 3-7 working days for shipment.
What if there are any quality issues with the bike?
Touroll has a professional after-sales service team and a technical support team. You could get local maintenance services in Europe. For more information regarding the warranty, please click here.
